About Me
I was born on 7th July, 19xx !
My father is in the Army and my mother is a housewife.
Thanks to the army, I have stayed in various places -
Nagaland, Patiala, Ahmedabad, Ahmednagar, Jhansi, Wellington,
Tanzania and Pune.
I have an elder brother, Rahul, who is in London with Citicorp.
I have studied at various Kendriya Vidyalaya's till my 12th.
Then, I did my B.E.(Hons) Electrical and Electronics
from BITS, Pilani.
I received the
"Motorola Gold Medal"
for best allround performance
in my batch.
I did projects at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (Mumbai),
Texas Instruments (I) Ltd. (Bangalore),
and Motorola India Electronics Ltd. (Bangalore)
Finally, I joined Analog Devices (I) Ltd. (Bangalore),
in Jan'98. I joined IIM-A in June'99.
I am now in Mumbai working for McKinsey and Co., after having finished my MBA.
I got married on 20th Nov 2003 to Aarti Katoch, "the love of my life."
We have been on the road since then-
from amchi Mumbai to New York, New Delhi, Pune
and now Zambia (for the uninitiated, an exotic land in Southern Africa)!!
Countries I Have Seen (and Like !!)
Europe (France, UK, Switzerland) - Had gone on an Exchange Program from IIM-Ahmedabad
The United States of America - Had gone on a Business visit
Tanzania and Kenya - Lovely countryside and abundant Wildlife
Zambia and Zimbabwe - Famous for Victoria Falls and the wildlife
Singapore - Very well organized and maintained high-tech city
Thailand - Has got lovely beaches and Buddhists Temples
My Interests
I am an ardent wildlife lover.
Also, my interest in photography and filming, complimented it well.
You are most welcome to come over and see the film I have made on
"The Wildlife Of East Africa".
I like trekking. Have climbed various mountains up north,
but my best trek was up Mt. Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania.
I like music (only romantic and melodious songs !!) and singing
(though, am pretty bad at the latter !!)
I play Squash quite well and also cricket.
